Today it was announced on WWE.com that Daniel Bryan will come out of retirement, since he has been cleared to wrestle once again. The first paragraph of WWE’s press release reads: “Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to return to in-ring competition by leading neurosurgeons, neurologists and concussion experts, including Dr. Robert Cantu, Dr. Javier Cárdenas and Dr. Jeffrey Kutcher.”.
Daniel Bryan announced retirement on February 8, 2016, on Twitter. In his tweet he said “Due to medical reasons, effective immediately, I am announcing my retirement. Tonight on Raw, I’ll have a chance to elaborate. #gratitude”. Later that day Daniel Bryan gave a retirement speech on Monday Night RAW. Since then, Bryan has been involved in numerous on-screen roles for WWE, including commentator, show host, and in-character general manager.
We can only assume that Daniel Bryan himself can further explain this topic tonight, as he is scheduled to appear on Smackdown Live. Smackdown Live airs tonight at 8 PM EST on the USA Network. Coverage of Smackdown Live goes live on WrestlingHeads.com at 10:05PM EST.
