EC3 and Bobby Lashley Out Of Impact Wrestling Contracts, Futures With WWE Possible

Two former WWE wrestlers, EC3 and Bobby Lashley look like they are destined to come back to the company. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported in the weekly issue that both of their contracts with Impact went up after their 6 days of tapings. The reason behind no renewal was that they both had “big money” contacts and Impact “couldn’t afford” to renew. During Wrestling Observer Radio last night, Dave said that WWE could have EC3 on TV on Monday, if that’s what they wanted to do. Apparently there is nothing in line for Lashley, but the idea of him re-joining WWE isn’t crazy.

Ethan Carter III’s first run in WWE was from 2010-2013 through the NXT brand, which at the time was a gameshow. In May of 2013 he was released from his contract. Since then EC3 has worked with TNA/Impact Wrestling, developing the egotistical character named EC3.

Bobby Lashley had his WWE run from 2004-2008, being released from his contract in February of 2008. Since then, he has had two runs in TNA, and a 15-2 record in MMA.

Only time will tell what the future is for these two performers.
