Night 1

Dezmond Xavier will have a tough challenge going against the veteran Brian Cage in Xavier’s first BOLA matchup. Cage will be competing in first BOLA since 2015 where he defeated Aerostar in the first round but was defeated by Jack Evans in the Following Round. While Cage has the size advantage, Look for Xavier to use his quickness and agility to outlast the powerhouse.

Predicted Winner: Dezmond Xavier

Flash Morgan Webster will be facing off against last year’s BOLA winner in Webster’s PWG debut. The Villain will attempt to become the first ever Back to Back BOLA winner. While Webster can excite the crowd, look for Scrull to get the win and move on the next round

The Two luchadors go head to head in what can be an exciting contest. Both men want to make a statement, Horus lost in his PWG debut to Sammy Guevara and Rey Fenix has lost in the first round in Back to back years in BOLA. Fenix will finally look to get his first win in BOLA tournament action.

These two competitors have no face off against one since the three way Tag Team between Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero M vs Ricochet & Matt Sydal vs The Young Bucks. Both Men were defeated in the first round last year Sydal was defeated by John Hennigan and Penta El Zero M was defeated by Marty Scrull. Look for Penta El Zero M To make a long run in the tournament

Predicted Winner: Penta EL ZERO M

Both Participants competed for Pro Wrestling Noah and Jonah has to deal with the most pressure of any participant in the tournament not only being the unknown name in the field but also having to go One on One with a former PWG champion and a 2015 BOLA winner. This is a matchup that fan should be interesting in seeing because the styles both Sabre Jr and Rock have.

Predicted Winner: Zack Sabre Jr

A highflying showcase will be performed by these two. Two of the best high flyers in the world will put on a show for the Reseda crowd. Flamita will make his debut against the 2014 BOLA winner Ricochet.

Predicted Winner: Ricochet

Matthew Riddle & Jeff Cobb vs Donovan Dijack & Keith Lee

Riddle and Cobb aka “The Chosen Bros” face the the pairing of Dijack and Lee. The Chosen Bros have not lost in a Tag Team action since forming together in PWG. Look for some intense athleticism and brutal suplexes from all four of these competitors.

The South Pacific Power Trip make there debut against PWG’s greatest Tag Team ever The Young Bucks at Night 1’s Main Event. South Pacific Power Trip have been a competitive team for Progress out in the U.K. but will face their toughest challenge going against Matt & Nick Jackson. The Young Bucks have had fairly great success during BOLA weekend and look for no difference in this match but keep a look out for Banks and Cooper to make an impression.

Predicted Winner: The Young Bucks

A fresh matchup for the Reseda crowd both competitors are ready to make a name for themselves this weekend. Cooper from New Zealand became a big name for Progress and more recognized as a tag team competitor, Cooper will go against one of the the young up and coming talents out of the state of Texas, Sammy Guevara. (Literally had so much trouble I couldn’t get both TK or Sammy pictures on. Sorry Guys)

An interesting matchup Dijak will go against in a finalist in last years BOLA in Trevor Lee. Dijak, size and athleticism will surprise people by watching him but you can never count out Trevor Lee making long runs during BOLA weekend.

Predicted Winner: DONOVAN DIJAK

Both men suffered first round losses in last years tournament, Callihan lost to Cody R. and Cobb was defeated by Ricochet. While Jeff Cobb will have the clear power advantage in this contest, Callihan will go out fighting and make sure Cobb feels every type of hit he gets. This will be a fun matchup but look for Cobb being a little too much for “The Death Machine”.

Predicted Winner: Jeff Cobb

Another fun matchup for Night 2, “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin who returns to BOLA since 2014 looks to finally win the tournament in which he was a finalist in 2012 & 2013. Elgin does face a tough challenge against the former UFC fighter Riddle. While Elgin will have the power advantage in this contest, Riddle will use his MMA background to take the big man down.

LDRS (Zack Sabre Jr & Marty Scurll) vs Ricochet & Matt Sydal

The last three BOLA winners will be participating in this tag team match (Ricochet 2014, Sabre Jr 2015 and Scroll 2016). Sydal and Ricochet are former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions and look to defeat the british pairing of Sabre Jr and Scurll.

Predicted Winners: LDRS

Rey Fenix, Flamita, Penta El 0 M vs The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks)

The match that no one would ever thought would be possible until they heard the announcement. The Young Bucks look to repeat on having the craziest six man tag match with the performance they put on last year teaming with Adam Cole and going against Ricochet, Matt Sydal and Will Osprey. This year the Young Bucks look to get another 5 star rating match but this time they have decided to bring fellow “Elite” member  Kenny Omega who will be  returning to PWG since All Star Weekend 11 in 2015. The Elite will face three of the best luchadores in the world and also the PWG Tag Team champions and will face the trio of Flamita, Rey Fenix and Penta EL Zero M.
